Find the Best Download Sites with CompareTop5.com

At the moment one of the most popular sites to watch DVD movies for free in full and online is watch-movies.net, so I thought I’d check it out and review it.

This site allows you to watch DVD movies for free online from old to very new movies. A useful aspect of this site is that it has a huge community and the members are able to comment on the quality of the DVD movies shown and also rate the film itself.

This is very useful as you can see which ones are worthwhile watching. For example I checked out Prince Caspian, after reading the comments and found that though obviously the quality is a bit grainy/pixely it was perfectly watchable.

And there were plenty of other mainstream DVD movies available to view online for free. As many of these are provided by foreign DVD movies, you may find that some of them are subtitled, so if you don’t want to watch subtitled versions, you can check the users comments, as they’d probably mention there it if they are.

There are a number of new sites being developed to copy what www.watch-movies.net has done, but so far they have the biggest database of DVD movies and new releases to watch online for free that I have found and not surprising a huge community of members. You can also checkout the list of the most viewed DVD movies online.

When you come to actually watch the movies you’ll find that the movies are split into 4 parts, so you’ll have click on the next link after about 30 minutes to watch the whole movie, but this is no hardship. To rate or comment on a movie you will need to register with your name, a password and your email address. The layout is basic, easy to navigate and easy to use. This is not a download site, you view the DVD movies online by clicking on the relevant links, this is maybe why the films are split up into parts to make it easier for streaming.

This site was designed to work in the Firefox browser so it also works for me using the Flock browser. I don’t think it works using Internet Explorer (for me Firefox and Flock browsers are so much more flexible and user-friendly than Internet Explorer so I’d recommend installing either of them anyway). There are adverts on the site but not overly so, and by registering this removes the adverts anyway.

As you’ll be aware, because this site allows you to watch DVD movies for free you may find that at some point this site maybe closed down due to issues of ownership, but at moment it is still up and running at www.watch-movies.net.
