In the search for Drag Racing V3 and other free drag racing games to play online, I found myself at the Games Freak website - where I found all manner of racing games to play for free and online.
Whilst many free online car racing game sites are full of adverts and pop-ups, this site was well laid out, with a few ads but no pop-ups. As I was especially looking for drag racing V3, I was disappointed to find it was currently not available but, (after having reported it to the website owners), I found plenty of other drag racing games to mess around with as well as other car games while they got it sorted.
They have a pretty good choice of about 80 car racing games including street racing car games, drag racing and 3D speed racing games. They also have other racing categories from horse racing and bike racing games, as well as shooting and action online games. You can give the games ratings, and also check out their top 20 racing games as rated by their visitors – so you can go straight to their most popular racing games.
The games I’ve checked out so far have very good graphics, though I found a couple of games needed me to install an add-on to work and as most of the games will use Flash or Java. Some racing games give you the option to customize your car, choosing race tracks etc. If you find using a keyboard instead of the usual video game control pad, check out a game called Dune buggy good for practice, though I got stuck playing this a lot as it’s very addictive!
